Fresno, CA & Danbury, CT – 4/26/10 – ShoWare™ by VisionOne, Inc has officially launched the ticketing system for one of their newest clients, Palace Theatre.

The Palace Theatre was built in 1926. It is located within the Main Street Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Theater initially hosted live vaudevillian acts and later featured such famous performers as Louis Armstrong and Bob Hope. More recently, it was used exclusively for motion pictures until its closing in 1995, although a small portion of it has recently been reopened for special events.

Palace Theater is being restored to its former prominence where it can act as a catalyst for historic preservation and downtown revitalization and once again provide a regional destination for the arts and entertainment.
